Terms of service

Effective October 9, 2026

In short

You own your content and your contacts. Use the service lawfully and respect the people whose details you collect. Paid plans renew until you cancel, and you can export your data whenever you like.

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of Furnace Card Studio (the “service”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use the service for an organisation, you confirm you can accept these terms on its behalf. Enterprise customers may have a separate written agreement, which takes precedence where it differs.

2. Your account

  • Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us about any unauthorised use.
  • Workspace owners control who has access, what roles they have and which businesses they can see.
  • You’re responsible for activity in your workspaces, including by people you invite.

3. Your content and contacts

You keep all rights to the cards, media and data you put into the service. You give us the permission we need to host, display, process and transmit that content to provide the service — for example, to show a published card to visitors.

When you collect people’s details, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to do so and for honouring their choices. Marketing messages may only be sent to people who have given permission; the service records consent and enforces unsubscribes and suppressions, but it can’t make an unlawful campaign lawful.

4. Acceptable use

Your use must follow our acceptable use policy. We may remove content or suspend a card or workspace that breaks it, and will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.

5. Plans, payment and renewal

  • Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until cancelled.
  • Trials convert to the Free plan if you don’t subscribe; nothing is charged without a subscription.
  • Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Metered allowances (emails, SMS, AI credits) reset monthly and don’t roll over.
  • Prices may change; we’ll give you notice before a change affects your subscription.

6. AI features

AI features produce suggestions that may be inaccurate. Review them before relying on them. Nothing AI-generated is sent or applied without a person approving it, and administrators can turn AI off.

7. Third-party services

Integrations you connect are provided by third parties under their own terms. Data you choose to sync to them is handled by those providers.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and secure but can’t promise it will be uninterrupted. We may change or improve features; if we remove a feature you pay for in a way that materially reduces the service, we’ll give notice.

9. Ending your use

You can cancel at any time and export your data before deleting a workspace. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated breaches of these terms. After deletion, your content is removed from our live systems.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is”, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

11. Changes to these terms

We’ll update the effective date when these terms change and notify account owners of material changes before they apply.
