Acceptable use policy
Effective October 9, 2026
In short
Be who you say you are, contact people who want to hear from you, and don’t use cards to deceive, harass or harm anyone.
Cards and pages
Don’t publish a card that:
- Impersonates a person, company or organisation, or implies an affiliation you don’t have.
- Is designed to collect passwords, payment details or other credentials under false pretences.
- Promotes scams, fraud, illegal goods or services, or content that is illegal where it’s published.
- Harasses, threatens or promotes hatred against people based on who they are.
- Shares someone else’s private information without their permission.
- Infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights.
- Contains malware or links designed to harm visitors’ devices.
Messages
- Send marketing only to people who have opted in, and honour every unsubscribe.
- Use relationship follow-ups only for people who personally exchanged details with you.
- Don’t use purchased, rented or scraped lists.
- Don’t disguise who a message is from or what it’s about.
The platform
- Don’t try to access other workspaces, probe for vulnerabilities outside our responsible disclosure process, or disrupt the service.
- Don’t use automated means to create accounts or cards, or to scrape cards at scale.
- Don’t resell access to the service except through an agency plan.
Reporting and enforcement
Anyone can report a card using the report form or the “Report” link at the bottom of every card. We review reports and may remove content, disable a card or suspend a workspace. Where we can, we’ll tell the workspace owner what happened and how to fix it.
